Company Profile Rock Valley Oil & Chemical Co. began in 1971 as a regional supplier of industrial lubricants, metalworking fluids, solvents and chemicals, providing “one-source” supply for the convenience of its manufacturing customers. By 1978, the company’s development of its own formulating and manufacturing capabilities transformed it into the role of a manufacturer of high-quality industrial lubricants and metal-working fluids. Recognizing the needs of its customers for technical support and applications assistance in their use of functional fluids, the Company has continually expanded its lubrication engineering and laboratory services. In 1990, it added the capabilities to recycle its customers’ used fluids with its Full Circle Renewal Program, a unique and technically sound approach to optimizing fluid service life without compromising quality or performance. In 1990, the Company added its Viscor test, reference and calibration fluids, providing the automotive, marine, locomotive, aerospace and heavy equipment industries with the highest quality and most consistent fluids, becoming a world-class supplier in these segments. In 2000, Rock Valley became a manufacturer of exceptionally high-quality and high-performance fluids for use in forming and stamping critical exterior body components for the automotive industry, products which have been proven to markedly improve quality and dramatically reduce manufacturing costs. Today, Rock Valley is a well-respected global supplier of important functional fluids and valuable services to manufacturers.
